mANDRAk is a project child of Jovan Ristov.
Born in Skopje, Macedonia, lives in Manchester UK where for over 28 years is creating music for his soul. It took his lifelong friend Igor Filevski , a well known Macedonian media personality, to listen to his songs and to inspire him to go public.
mANDRAk name has a signicance in Jovan’s childhood connected to the comic The Mandrake.
First album of mANDRAk, sILENCe, that contains 14 songs, is due to be released in September 2026. Until then, there will be a small waterfall of songs to be released.
The project is imagined as a multicultural reach, as each song has its own deep emotional story that will take you to different journeys – everyone will find them selves here.
Each of the songs will be released in several languages:
Macedonian, English, Serbian, Chinese, Spanish, French, Indonesian, German, Italian, Hindu and Japanese.
The first two singles of sILENCe – I Wait and Unconditional Love are released in Macedonian, English and Serbian on all major stores as Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Tencent, YouTUBE etc.
The other languages will follow.
